Jantzen Renewables develops large-scale green energy projects, by combining international expertise with a strong local track record. Our mission is to create green investment opportunities and access to clean energy across Romania.
Jantzen Renewables started as a spinout from Jantzen Development. With a background in agriculture and land development, the team has more than fifteen years of experience with project development in Romania. We are currently developing a large pipeline of utility-scale renewable energy projects, primarily focusing on photovoltaic parks.

Meet our team
Erik has been working for more than 15 years on the development, establishment and operation of farmland investment projects in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania. Erik was previously the CEO of various companies in the agricultural industry, including a major company listed on the stock exchange. Erik has overall responsibility for the activities of Jantzen Renewables and focuses on investor relations, the development of new projects, and the Jantzen Group in general.

Christian is a shareholder (partner) of Jantzen Renewables ApS and the CEO. Prior to JR, he has five years of experience working with venture capital and technology companies. He’s been involved with starting and building companies since 2011 in sectors such as real estate, finance, technology and now renewable energy. He holds a masters degree in finance from Aarhus University in Denmark.

Branislav is a shareholder (partner) of Jantzen Renewables ApS and is heading the project development at Jantzen Renewables. Previously, he was the Managing Director of Jantzen Development Romania since its start in 2006. Prior to that, he worked with Erik from 2002 to 2006 in the agricultural company Dan-Slovakia Agrar in Slovakia. Branislav is a business economics graduate and has a PhD in statistics from the University of Bratislava.

Razvan is a shareholder (partner) of Jantzen Renewables ApS and is leading our transactional activity. Prior to joining Jantzen Renewables, Razvan was the head of the M&A department and the Managing Partner of the Bucharest office of the international law firm Kinstellar. He was also regional co-head of the Private Equity Sector within Kinstellar. Razvan’s 23 years M&A career includes positions with NCH Advisors, Alpha Bank and a local law firm. Razvan was involved in significant transactions in various industries and sectors, including agriculture, tech and energy. Razvan is a member of the Bucharest Bar.

Catalin has been working as an independent contractor with the Jantzen Group since 2019 and is responsible for drawing and updating maps, plans and topographic databases, as well as for the relationship with the state authorities in the field. He graduated from the University of Land Measurements and Cadastre Bucharest and he is authorized by the authorities to execute specialized works in the domain with an experience of over 10 years.

Ioana is a member of the Bucharest Bar since 2002 and has been assisting Jantzen Renewables since 2020. Previously, she has been collaborating for more than 10 years with Jantzen Development, being involved in the legal advice for the agricultural projects developed in Romania. Ioana also continues to provide legal assistance to agri-business players.

Andrei has joined the team as Project Manager. He has 20 years of experience in Civil Engineering field, managing all phases of Civil, Office, Residential, Industrial Projects, Electrical and Instrumentation, Roads, Water and Waste Water Projects life cycle. Skilled at utilising software tools to support Project Managing, Project Controls and Tendering, claims, reporting and quantity surveying and also expertise in Agile (Scrum, Kanban ) across all project phases. New technology and concepts enthusiast : Renewable Energy, Internet of things, Blockchain, AI.

Andrei is a member of the Bucharest Bar and is providing legal assistance to Jantzen Renewables since 2022. Before working closely with Jantzen Renewables, Andrei was a lawyer for a top tier Bucharest law firm, mainly focusing on real estate matters for various clients. Besides real estate matters, Andrei has also advised clients in M&A and Banking & Finance areas of practice, and, besides consultancy experience, Andrei is also a litigation lawyer, representing his clients’ interests in front of the Romanian Courts.

Georgeta (as representative of TMP Trust Management SRL) is managing our finances as of February 2022. Previously, Georgeta was leading the finance and administration department of few Romanian based companies. Georgeta has 20 years of experience in financial management and business consulting with a strong commercial track record within advertising, retail and real estate environment.
